The Transplant Process Begins

I know there is a lot more to this story than where I am starting tonight and some day very soon, I will go back and rewrite our story from the beginning...
However, for now I am going to use this blog to update those who are following our journey personally and those who are know that this is the week of Daddy's transplant. He was admitted to MUSC tonight and will begin 2 days of very intense chemo tomorrow. So far he says they have hit on his knees and asked him 40,000 questions :) Not too much to report.
We are confident that God has a plan and that He has Daddy in the palm of His hand. Moma reminded us in church Sunday that while this isn't the journey we would have picked, it is the journey God chose for us and we will walk it and have faith knowing that God is all-knowing and He is in control. Thanks for your prayers! We love you all!!
Oh...I do plan to go back and add our whole myeloma story. When Daddy was first diagnosed, blogs were a lifesaver for me. They allowed me to connect with real people fighting this very real battle and most importantly they gave us HOPE. So, more info coming soon!

  1. Claire, what a great way to remember this journey but also help others. My heart goes out to you. I love what your momma said said about this not being your journey but God's. So true, and God's plan is perfect. He always gives us what we need when we need it. Praying for ya'll.
